About Us

The United Way of Washington County, formerly known as the Greater Marietta United Way, was established in 1929 to raise funds to support the health and human service needs of area residents. The United Way is an important source of funding for charitable agencies that focus on helping local disadvantaged individuals.

Caring for communities, every day in their time of need, that's how we live united.

We thank the many volunteers and miracle workers of our agencies for making our community a better place to live, and we thank you for your continuous caring and support of the United Way.

Different by nature, united by mission!
