We are a local chapter of a national organization centered around mom and her children.  The mission of the group is to provide a supportive, nurturing environment for all mothers who have a common concern for raising their children in the best possible and most healthful way.  MOMS Group provides a forum for topics pertinent to children, child-raising, homemaking, personal improvement and the family.  Members are also encouraged to engage in activities to enrich the lives of children in the community by participating in in at least one charitable, humanitarian or social welfare project related to children each year.

What does the Club do with the $25 annual membership fee?

Dues pay for supplies, postage, the International MOMS Club registration fees, and the End-of-the-Year-Banquet.  We are an IRS registered non-profit organization so all money collected is used exclusively for the club.  Dues may be waived or reduced for financial hardships.  Please contact a board member if you would like to discuss payment options.

Are there any restrictions on membership?

No! All MOMS and/or expectant MOMS are welcome!  We also have meetings and events year round so there is always something to do with the group.  There is no minimal participation requirements either. MOMS can come (or not come) to any events they choose.

What types of activities to do you do?

We have a MOMS ONLY monthly Mom's Night Out and a MOMS ONLY annual banquet.  Otherwise, all of our monthly calendar of events, play days, outings, and meetings are kid-friendly!  Aside from our monthly meetings, during the warmer months, we also do outdoor events like play dates at the park, bubble parties, scavenger hunts, pool dates, stroller walks, and jammin' on the square.  During the cooler months, we indoor events like movie dates, indoor playgrounds (BK, McDonald's, Chik-Fil-A), Painted Frog, Mall Garden, etc. We also have a variety of sub groups that meet through the year, such as book club, cooking club, and lunch club.  The sky is really the limit with the group!  We're always looking for suggestions and ways to broaden our horizons!

Are activities divided into different age groups?

Yes. We have age specific playgroups.  We also have all ages events so the MOMS can get to know one another better.

Can a MOM preview the Club before she commits to joining?

Yes. A MOM is welcome to attend two events to see if the Club is right for her before joining.
