Q: Why should moms try to 'live green'?
A: Living green isn't just about loving the Earth, but also about living a healthy life and providing the same to your children. They go hand in hand. So many of the chemicals in standard products are harmful to both you and the environment. In your plastic plates and cups, your shampoos, soaps and body washes, even in the foods you eat. It takes a little bit of effort to retrain your shopping habits, but it's worth it. Companies are tricky! Fruit cups labeled as 'sugar free' often contain artificial sweeteners (which can be especially harmful to children), and labels like "natural" really don't hold a lot of weight. You have a right to know what's in the products you use without all of the trickery.

A: Yes, I love exploring new products that give people a healthier and/or more sustainable option. Be sure to check the blog out frequently because many companies provide products for giveaways to accompany reviews!
