St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has rescheduled the Tallahassee St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer that was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 16 at SouthWood Town Center in Tallahassee to Saturday, November 11.
We hope the upcoming event can serve as an opportunity for our community to gather together as participants, volunteers, sponsors, employees and spectators to support patients battling childhood cancer, to honor survivors and those we have lost to this disease.

The entire Tallahassee community is invited to participate in the event, which will feature a patient family speaker, scenic 5K, family friendly activities and live entertainment. Registration for the run is $20 for adults and children ages six and up and $10 for the walk for adults and children ages six and up.

Thanks to generous donors and events like the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer, but can’t do it alone. With the support of participants, donors and more, we can end childhood cancer together.
