Located under the mighty oaks on the Intercoastal Waterway just 5 minutes from the Beaches in West Bay, Boon Docks offers you a delicious array of local and regional seafood, which may be prepared in a variety of ways. We use a special blend of spices that gives our grilled items a taste like no other! Our unique breading recipe gives our fried seafood a special and original flavor that will bring you back for more! And don’t forget our homemade desserts, they are sinfully delicious.
Relax on the docks while you wait at Fish Tales. Take in the history of our 1941 West Bay landmark, the old fish house, the Buchanan home, and the old bait store, all now part of Boon Docks Restaurant. Look out over the water and watch the barges go by, the occasional dolphin swim by, even an alligator or two, and our mascots, the ducks and geese, who come in for their favorite - hushpuppies.

Early 2002 brought Pickles Gifts to the Buchanan home and Fish Tales (a place for cold drinks & A/C while you wait) to the bait shop. After several years of planning and anticipation a new dining room adjoining the original one opened in 2003. We are proud to share all this progress with our loyal customers we call friends. For those of you that are new friends, if you look above in the original dining room you will see the original rafters supporting our shiny tin roof. Black and white pictures are around to remind us of days gone by and signed memorabilia of recent visitors. The Social Club that is located in the old fish house dates back to the early 1900's...notice the slope of the floor towards the bay. Look out the windows to see the barges go by or the ducks coming in for their favorite corn!
