Mission & Programs
At KidsCanCommunity Center, our mission is to empower children and parents to reach their potential and enable older adults to maintain their independence.
Formerly known as Social Settlement, in 2009 we concentrated on the identity and branding of our organization and as a result made the decision to change our name to KidsCanCommunity Center. The new name reflects both our children's programs (preschool, childcare, afterschool and tutoring) as well as our community services (senior transportation, tax assistance, food pantry referrals, computer classes).
