A: Yes. Nebraska law states you may select the shop of your choice and notify your insurance company of the claim.
Q: Who warranties the repairs made to my car?
A: The shop where you had your car repaired provides the warranty, not the insurance company.
Q: Will I be responsible for additional charges beyond my deductible?
A: No. The customer's responsibility is the deductible, any additional charges, (except for car rental or prior damage), will be paid or reimbursed by the insurance company.
Q: How should I go about choosing a shop?
A: Do your own research. Use resources such as the BBB, search the company on the internet and check reviews on Google or Angie's list, meet the owner and trust your instincts.
Q: I don't want my insurance rates to go up, what can I do?
A: Come in for a free consultation and we can communicate with your agent about the repairs and how it would effect your rates before you even file a claim. Some claims have no effect on your rates.
