Lassi Anyone?

It's a staple in my home: Lassi. No, I'm not talking about the collie Lassie, but lassi. It's an Indian yogurt drink and it's fabulous!

Attachment Parenting

When I read a recent article in Time Magazine on attachment parenting, I thought to myself, are you kidding me? It sure put an end to my speculation that sometimes my parenting is extreme!

Irritating Words and Phrases

My husband does this silly thing with my 13-year-old daughter when she's talking. He will actually count the times the uses the word like in a sentence. It's one of the most annoying but common words that has invaded our language!

My daughter was out the door this morning with breakfast in hand: peanut butter toast and a bananna! Our alarm didn't go off and we slept in a little too much! Ouch!

I have the pleasure of attending my second annual Mom Prom at my son's high school. It's an event that I look forward to. And my son - not so much.

Don't take them for granted! Terms of endearment that you share with your loved one. I could never picture myself calling my husband hon but seems that's become part of our terms of endearment to each other these days.
