Other than gymnastics, my boys haven't been involved in any organized sports. So when I signed Tyler up for T-Ball - I didn't really know what to expect. Would he be too scared to participate? Would there be tears if he made a mistake? Would he even want to do it ? I found out today - I had no reason to worry!
If you've read any of my blogs, you know how frustrating birthday celebrations and holidays have been for me because of my parent's divorce. Unfortunately, it's been like that all of my life. I never had a birthday party, a graduation party, a big wedding or reception - mainly because of all the family drama I've witnessed and tried to avoid.
I am writing this on the last day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I just couldn't let it go by without saying something about the disease. This is in honor of all the young moms out there who are battling breast cancer and still doing all the things we moms do everyday - cook, clean - drive the kids around. Keep up the faith and the fight!
