Know How to Rev-Up Your Know-How?

Learn something! And if you'd like to learn how to learn something, you're in the right place. Bellevue University can teach you a few things about that.

If you've been toying with the notion of bolstering your knowledge toolbox, Bellevue U is a good fit for you, "and moms especially because more than ever, the job opportunities in this country are very well tied to education," said Dr. Mary Hawkins, president of Bellevue.

"The other thing moms need to know is that this is doable," she said.

The big obstacles are often a mix of time and money. Bellevue has financial advisors and counselors who can help you with those hurdles. One of the helpful tools is the new American Dream Scholarship.

Dr. Hawkins says, "It's a very focused and simple application process to access a significant amount of funds. We're giving out $200,000 in scholarships this spring for people who say, 'ya know, I'm gonna do it. I'm going to make the commitment. I'm going to enroll and start that or complete that path to my education.'"

You'll find a one-page form on their Website to get you started.
