Twelve years ago, we opened Juniper Hill Furniture with the goal of bringing quality furniture to the Reno-Tahoe area that offers a distinctive look at a competitive price. "We wanted to bring a store to the area that offered a 'look' that used to be available only to designers," says owner Trish Dietze. As a family owned company, we take great pride in offering our customers a superior level of customer service. Our comprehensive design services are complementary to our clients. Q: You're a family owned business here in Reno, how does Juniper Hill differ from other furniture stores in town?
A: We have an extensive showroom with nearly 600 lines and 35,000 fabrics, so the ability to create custom looks is fruitful. We have fun and unique items throughout our store, and pride ourselves on our extensive amount of accessories, artwork and other home decor to make your home unique. But, I would say our best feature is our complementary design service to help you navigate through all the choices.
Q: I love your store and I want my house to look just like it, but how can I afford it?
A: While everything may look out of your range, we actually have several different price points to work within anyone's financial plan. We work with you to put together a plan for your room, and it may happen over time in stages but in the end you will have a beautiful room that reflects your families lifestyle and personality. In addition, we have over 500 lines to choose from in varying price points, so it it easy for us to work within nearly any budget.
Q: When you say you offer "design services" what exactly does that entail?
A: We go above and beyond to help our clients put together a room that will reflect their design & lifestyle. We do everything from planning the room, starting with existing pieces and going through the process to include even paint, faux, and flooring if needed, to finish the room at time of delivery with artwork, accessories, lamps and rugs. Our customers end up with a completely finished room, and it's complementary!
Q: How long does it take to put a room together?
A: Just as you plan a vacation, you need to start with a plan. The plan includes what you already may have, what you want to invest, and whether you are buying it off our showroom floor, or if there are some special order items. Some rooms may be put together all at once, others in stages over time. It really depends on the client and the circumstances.
Q: I found the perfect item for my home already in stock in your store, do I have to order it, or can I have it this week?
A: We would love for you to find the 'perfect piece" right off our showroom floor. Our concept for Juniper Hill Furniture was to have a furniture store that is always fun, new and different to shop at. In order to achieve that, we sell merchandise right off the floor so that we can put the new items in their place.
