Directions
In a small bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, tiny pinch baking powder and tiny pinch salt. (This can also be mixed directly into a large mug). Add egg and mix into dry mixture. Add oil and milk and mix well. Grease a tall, large mug, and pour in this mixture, scraping out with a spatula. Place in microwave on High for 2 1/2 – 3 minutes.
This isn’t the best chocolate cake ever but it’s pretty good for a quick easy dessert. I drizzled caramel over the top and that was yummy. Oh and I didn’t use a mug, just a bowl as you can see by the picture.
Since trying this the first time, I’ve been looking up different recipes. Some have suggested whisking the egg and only add 2 T or omit the egg completely for a fudgier cake. I also saw a suggestion to use pudding mix in place of the cocoa. I think I’ll try that version next!
Enjoy!
