Q: How does the United Way make a difference?
A: United Way of Rock River Valley is an organization focused on improving lives of individuals in our community. We do this by focusing on the building blocks of a good life: education, income and health.
Q: Is United Way a local or a national organization?
A: Each United Way is completely autonomous; locally governed, organized and operated. Therefore 100 percent of contributions stay local.
Q: How is United Way leading positive community change?
A: United Way believes that everyone deserves an opportunity for a good life: access to resources that lead to a path of educational fulfillment, family financial stability and a lifetime of good health.
Q: How does my contribution help?
A: From emergency services to mental health to after school youth programs toseniors, a contribution helps people remain or become self-sufficient. There are over 80 local agency programs you support (Winnebago and Ogle Counties) when you give to United Way.
Q: If I want to volunteer, what should I do?
