East-West Yoga: An exhilarating 70-minute program for people of different levels of experience. Opens and closes with mental exercises and flexibility work. A blend of styles emphasizing form (Iyengar), strength (Ashtanga), and flow (Vinyasa).
Gentle Yoga: This one-hour class is similar to East-West but does not include the standing strength poses and vinyasa. Moderate exertion and lots of flexibility.
Aquatic yoga: A 45-minute full yoga routine immersed in 84° water. A natural environment for mental relaxation. Learn the true feel for hard-to-hold land yoga poses. Increases balance and form for your land yoga.
Ashtanga yoga involves rigorous poses with regulated breathing patterns. It is designed to generate heat within the body. A good workout / sweat, with challenging balances and pose sequences. Currently it includes Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) series B and the Standing Series.
Restorative yoga: A relaxing 50-minute program with using bolsters, blankets, and more props to relieve discomfort from arthritis and rehabilitate arthritic vertebrae, sockets, and joints—therapy with little exertion. Duration stretches build excelent flexibility.
Level II: Iyengar-based yoga classes that explore the form of a discrete group of asanas in ascending level of difficulty. The class begins with inversions icluding Sirsana (headstand), Sarvangasana (shoulderstand), and Urdva Mukha Vrksana (handstand). The remainder of the class changes weekly as more challenging Iyengar seated and standing asanas are explored in detail.
Easy Yoga: This class combines restorative-style stretching with optional standing poses for the last third of the class. A restful class with a bit more work than restorative yoga.
Individual Instruction: A 50-minute class specially tailored for your needs. Enjoy the enhanced benefits of adjustments and partner yoga.
Vinyasa Yoga: A 60-minute class of flexibility and flowing yoga. A vigorous workout.
