Family Enrichment Center believes parents are capable of caring for and fostering growth in their children when provided with education, support and skill-building opportunities. With these resources, all parents can help prevent or cease abusive relationships and provide nurturing environments that allow their children and families to reach their highest potential. Q: What type of services do you provide?
A: Parenting Classes and Support Group, Child Care, Visitation Services, In Home Parent Education, Adoption Support and Recruitment, Community Awareness regarding Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and other parenting topics.
Q: What is the cost of your services?
A: Parenting Classes - $25 refundable deposit for 12 classes; Child Care - Sliding Fee Scale based on need, FREE crisis care, Visitation Services - Sliding Fee Scale; In Home Parent Education - FREE, Adoption Support - FREE.
Q: What area do you serve?
A: We serve the 10 county region, primarily Warren County. We do serve families out of state through visitation services and have just launched an In Home Parent Education Program in Allen County.
Q: Do you have to qualify for services?
A: No, though we do look at risk factors as a priority to services such as: history of child abuse, single parent, domestic violence, substance abuse, families crises, and/or special needs children. We do encourage all families to participate in our parenting classes and support group.
Q: Do you utilize volunteers and/or accept donations?
A: YES! We can use volunteers year round and have a real need during our fund-raising event in March. We accept monetary donations as well as items such as: children's clothing, diapers, age appropriate toys, batteries, paper products, hygiene items, gift certificates, etc.
