Seems our teenagers are well ahead of us when we try to have a sit down talk about sex.
It's amazing how much they know. But developmentally, are they really prepared for what's ahead when it comes to their bodies and sexuality?
No doubt it's good to have an initial talk with our children but there are some excellent books available for more details. Books that can relate practical information to our kids without the awkwardness of Mom and Dad fumbling through some oftentimes uncomfortable topics!
A word of caution: some of these books are not appropriate for all ages. You know you child. You decide. I've given these to my children over the years.
