Q: How much does it cost to watch a movie?
A: Any movie showing before 6pm is considered a matinee and only $6 a person. Evening movies are only $8.50 for adults and $6 for children.
Q: Are there gift booklets available? Where can I use them?
A: Yes. Gift booklets are available at the box office and contain gift certificates that can be used to purchase tickets and concessions. They make a great gift for friends and family that love to go to the movies.
Q: What determines how long a movie continues playing at Carmike 8?
A: This is determined by the local sales of the weekend for each movie. It is also based on the new movies coming out.
Q: Is pre-order of movie tickets available?
A: Yes, advance sell is available. They can be ordered online.
Q: Why is there an additional charge for 3D movies?
A: There is an additional $2.50 surcharge for 3D movies. This is not because we "rent" you the 3D glasses, its due to the additional investment for special equipment like a special projector and a silver screen to make the 3D viewing process possible.
