Creative Arts Center

The Creative Arts Center is a project of the Fannin Community Foundation, Inc., a public, non-profit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to creating, implementing, and maintaining educational, social, cultural, and recreational programs based on traditional values, which benefit children, youth, adults, and senior citizens. With the support of individuals, local churches, civic organizations, and other community groups, the Fannin Community Foundation, Inc. provides innovative approaches to meet emerging needs in Fannin County.  The fifteen members of the Board of Directors all come from the Fannin County community and are dedicated to the missions of the foundation and it’s two facilities.

Creative Arts Center FAQ

Q: What is the purpose of the Creative Arts Center?
A: To provide a venue where artists and performers explore, create, display and teach their craft, and where people of all ages learn and experience art.
Q: Do you offer classes?
A: Yes, we offer all kinds of classes for both kids and adults. We also offer a Kids art summer camp as well.
Q: Do you have any special events coming up?

Q: Do you have Art classes for children?
A: Yes: Wednesday afternoon ages 4-7 from 3:30 - 4:30 and ages 8-12 from 4:30 - 5:30
Q: Do you have theater or drama classes for children?
A: Yes: Tuesday and Thursdays we offer classes fromm 4pm until 6pm. We cover voice, dance, music, speech, lighting. stage makeup, and self esteem.
Q: Do you have a volunteer program?
A: Yes: we have many ways to volunteer; exhibits, art, drama, students, rentals, weddings, and receptions.
Q: Are you going to have Music in the Garden Series?
A: Yes we will have the Music in the Garden Series starting the first Thursday in May and running for seven weeks every Thursday.

We continually provide a venue where artists and performers can explore, create, and display, and teach their craft. We feel that every person has a gift and it is our responsibility as well as a privelage to shine a light on that gift in order to allow it to emerge.
