New Trends in Workout Wear

Many of us are working to maintain those New Year's resolutions to lose weight and get active. Sometimes having something cool to wear while you're working out gives you more motivation to go to the gym.

We dropped by Scheels to get ideas on what's hot when it comes to workout fashion.

I have two pair and got mine from I love not wearing shoes so bought these and love them wear them everywhere. I think and know they strengthen our legs and muscles for better balance. My friends are now going to get themselves some, same with my daughter. My husband calls them my feet gloves and gets a kick out of the toe socks. I love them though!

Yes I bought mine last year and absolutely love them they are light wieght and very comfortable. Perfect for working out or running and you can even swim with them too. They have many different options to choose from based on which activities you like to do most!

Vibrams Fivefingers are the shoes I wear when I work out. My husband and I bought our shoes last year and they make my workout more effective! I got the ones that are more for aerobic workouts and my husband got the ones that are for running outdoors. My ankles are so much stronger and my toes are straighter and I don't have any back pains after working out with these shoes. They aren't for everyone, and you do have to get used to wearing them, but if anyone is looking to change up their workout style, I'd definitely recommend them! I get a harder, faster and more effective work out than I did with running shoes and even though there is less padding, I think it makes my body more balanced and has helped me with postural issues.
