Splish-splash! Found myself taking a long bath after a very long trip! It's been months since my last soak in a tub and it felt great!
I don't often take time for baths anymore. Life is just too busy! But when I was in the tub, I thought, I really need to do this more.
Twenty minutes of pure stress relief! I also poured some great smelling bath salts into the water and rediscovered a great way to get back om in my life!
I used some relatively inexpensive stuff I bought at Bath And Body Works store. They have a nice line of bath products with scents like eucalyptus, lavender and vanilla. Smells heavenly!
Did a little research and found there are a lot of essential oils we can use in our baths that actually have all sorts of benefits. Epsom salt can be used in the bath just to get toxins out. Lavender can be helpful if you have joint and muscle pain. A mixture of the herb rosemary, pine and eucalyptus can help alleviate sinus headaches. Rosemary and ginger can be used for sore muscles. Chamomile and oatmeal for dry skin. The list goes on and on!
Bath time or tub time isn't just for little ones anymore! A warm soak in a tub with a little aromatherapy is now a must for this mom! If not every night, at least one night a week!
