Mesa County Library is a collection of resources in a variety of formats that is (1) organized by information professionals or other experts who (2) provide convenient physical, digital, bibliographic, or intellectual access and (3) offer targeted services and programs for people of all ages!(4) with the mission of educating, informing, or entertaining a variety of audiences (5) and the goal of stimulating individual learning and advancing society as a whole.

Why Should You Participate in the 2nd Annual Tech Expo?
Whether you’re a tech novice or expert, you’ll find something interesting at the Mesa County Libraries Tech Expo, which will take place 4-7 pm Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at the Central Library, 443 N. 6th St. The Tech Expo will feature demonstrations of cool technology such as the new digital conversion station, robots, digital cameras, and live-streaming from the 970West Studio. You’ll be able to visit with local tech-related organizations, and you can learn about ebooks, online magazines, and other virtual resources available through Mesa County Libraries. The Tech Expo is open to the public at no charge. Stay tuned for more details! Do you have any services for teens?
  • Free Colorado DMV Permit Practice Tests – Be prepared to get that permit.
  • Career Center – This program is offered through Mesa County Schools. It helps teens development entry level employable skills.
  • Get Real (Hilltop Services) – The organization provides confidence building and pregnancy prevention services.
  • The House: A Safe Shelter for Teens – The mission of this non-profit is to provide a safe space and help teens move towards self-sufficiency.
  • Mesa Valley Vision – Through the Mesa School District, this program supports community and home based learning.
  • Opportunity Center (Hilltop Services) – Alternative and individualized schooling programs help at-risk youth finish their high school diplomas.
  • Riverside Educational Center – This organization offers tutoring and after school programs for K-12.
