In one of our previous interviews, we talked about how the manufacturing industry has seen continued growth over the last few years, unlike other industries. And to help address the need for more employees in this field, Chippewa Valley Technical College is excited to announce that they are offering three new engineering programs starting this fall that are designed with the local industry in mind.
Mark Hendrickson, the Dean of Manufacturing and Engineering at CVTC tells us about their three new programs:
1) Industrial Engineering
2) Manufacturing Engineering
3) Nano Engineering
He also tells us about some of the local companies who are in need of graduates from these programs, what skill sets those companies are looking for, and the starting salary for jobs in these fields.
