Dental Care for Children Ages 3 to 6

A child's baby teeth begin to loosen and fall out on their own to make room for permanent teeth at about age 6…but timing varies. Debbie Schumacher and Pam Entrof, Dental Hygienists from CVTC, tell you everything you need to know about dental care for children ages 3 to 6 years old and how to take care of those permanent teeth that your kids will have forever!

First, they give some good dental habits that you should be teaching your kids at this age. They also explain what dental sealants are and why your kids should get them. And finally, they talk a little about flouride treatments and why your children should have them at this age.
