Have you recently taken a pregnancy test or missed a period? Is a baby not part of what you were planning? You need to get some facts in order to decide your next step.
At AbbaCare, staff and voluntters are here to provide you with a free pregnancy test and medically accurate information. We'll go over all of your options with you if your pregnancy test result is positive. We understand that sometimes you need a place to process everything, to think through all your options, and to feel safe to share what's on your mind. We're here to do just that. We invite you to come talk with us.
If you have questions about pregnancy, abortion procedures, adoption, parenting, or sexually transmitted infections, please don't hesitate to visit AbbaCare.
"It was so helpful to have someone to talk to. I would definitely recommend
someone to go to AbbaCare."
We're here to listen to your needs. All of our services are confidential and free of charge and are available regardless of income, race or religion.
If you think you may be pregnant, get the facts.
If a woman needs to confirm a pregnancy, a staff nurse performs a pregnancy test and limited ultrasound. Confidential peer counseling answers questions and provides information to individuals just finding out about their pregnancy.
Clients have the opportunity to enroll in maternity and parenting classes until the child turns one. Through this program, they earn needed maternity and baby items. Fathers can also participate in one-on-one mentoring and “for men only” classes as they prepare for the vital role of being a dad.
We have also developed the BuildingBlocks program for parents of older children. An at-home resource guide aids parents as they discipline, understand their child’s development, and discuss sensitive issues.
Building Family Connections offers workshops to further strengthen the relationship between parent and child. Modules are age appropriate for development and helping parents address sensitive topics.
WorthWaiting4 equips teens to establish boundaries, make healthy relationship decisions and be informed about risky behaviors. Teens are challenged to understand their worth as an individual, respect others and take responsibility for their actions.
All of our services are free and confidential. We are supported by donations from individuals, churches and businesses.
