Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy - Winchester FAQ
Q: Is Private School Affordable?
A: Yes. Our Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten programs are much more cost effective than daycare. Your child can receive an education in a safe, structured, and Christian environment for less than $20 a day.
Q: What About Academics?
A: We use the A Beka Book curriculum which is the "premier" Christian textbook publisher. With a systematic phonics program, students learn to read at an early age. Our students attain superior academic achievement, testing on average 1-2 grade levels higher than the national standard.
Q: Do You Provide a Safe Environment?
A: Yes. We provide a secure environment both internally and externally. Small class sizes help teachers to interact with each student which helps to prevent bullying. Externally, doors are secured or monitored, and we have security cameras strategically positioned.
Q: What is the Christian Perspective of SVCA?
A: Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy operates from a Christian World View. We strive to help our students answer the basic questions in life: Why am I here? Where am I going? What happens after death?
Q: Do You Have an Athletics Program?
A: We have Athletic Programs for ages 4-12 with our co-ed Basketball and Indoor Soccer Leagues. We also have Middle School and Varsity Boys & Girls Sports Programs.
