Cabell-Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau FAQ
You're with the Convention and Visitors Bureau here in Huntington. Tell us what you do.
We work outside the area to bring people into Huntington and Cabell County, whether that be meetings and groups, sporting events, bus groups or in this case families and kids. Then, we work to show them everything there is to see and do while they are here.
And there's a special event you are promoting now?
Yes. It's called Funington - Huntington Fun for Kids. The CVB has partnered with Camden Park, the Park District, Huntington Museum of Art and Heritage Farm to make sure there is something for kids and families to do every week day in June and July.
How does that work?
Each venue has taken a day - Parks department has Monday, Camden Park has Tuesday, Heritage Village has Wednesday and the Museum has Thursday. Each of them will have a special activity, outside of what they normally offer, on their day.
Do you have to make advance reservations?
No. None of the venues require advance ticket purchase. You just show up at the one you're interested in at the event time.
How can we find out more information and times?
You can either call the CVB office at 304.525.7333. We're open Mon-Friday 9-5. Or visit our website www.VisitHuntingtonWV.org
and click on the Funington logo.
