The evidence-based classes are offered at the request of any business or agency. Individuals can also express interest on our website

Where are the classes offered?
We can provide lifestyle coaching on-site at your agency or at the health department.

Is there a cost associated with the Healthy Lifestyle classes?
All materials and supplies are currently provided to participants FREE of charge.

Risk Factors for Diabetes

  • 45 years of age or older
  • Obese or overweight
  • Parent, sister, or brother with diabetes
  • African American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian, Asian American, or Pacific Islander
  • History of gestational diabetes or birth of a baby weighing ≥ 9 lbs.
  • Physically active less than 3 times a week
  • Have high blood pressure & high cholesterol
  • Had high blood glucose when pregnant
