Exciting weekend coming up in Pike County Kentucky
Yes, we have many of the descendants coming home for the Hatfield and McCoy events in Pikeville- Pike County.
When does it start in Pikeville?
The descendants arrive in town Friday for the Pikeville Main Street live music on the Billy Johnson Expo Stage, live music and food all evening starting from 6pm till 9pm.
What plans do you have for the rest of the weekend?
On Saturday morning from 9am till 2pm is the Pikeville farmers market,fresh produce, fruits and vegetables, arts and crafts, a pig roast at the market along with live local music. Saturday evening is the drag racing in the River Field in Pikeville.
What are your Sunday events?
On Sept the 25th, at 10am we will be having a special church service with the descendants at the McCoy Well Site in Pike County with the Hatfield and McCoy monologues actors and unveiling of new historic site signage.
