The Red Caboose Regional Artisan Center is operated by the Cabell-Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau. The shop, located in the Visitors Center at Heritage Station, features the work of local creatives. Locally-produced ceramics, Blenko glass, fine art, bath products, fiber arts, jewelry, and artisan food products are available year-round. Local authors and musicians also sell their work through the shop. In addition, the shop features souvenir items including postcards and Huntington-themed items, many of which are produced locally as well. What types of items do you sell?
We sell locally-made one-of-kind-art, handmade bath and beauty products, ceramics, woodworking, local-interest books, and artisan food items. We also offer souvenir items including postcards, magnet, and keychains.
Is everything in the shop made in West Virginia?
No, we include artists who live in the tri-state area and we have a few authors who are from West Virginia but now live outside the state. We also have a few mass-produced souvenir items. Approximately 80% of our items are made right here in West Virginia.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We are located at Heritage Station in the heart of Downtown Huntington. Our address is 210 11th Street. Our hours are Mondays 9 - 4, Tuesdays through Fridays 9 - 6, and Saturdays 10 - 4.
