You need sweet treats for your on-the-go family, but you don't want to load your little cookie monsters down with tons of sugar. Jessica Kellner from Mother Earth Living magazine offers a tasty alternative.
2 ripe bananas
1 c. rolled oats or quick oats
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 t. salt
Mash the bananas, then add in the salt, oats, walnuts and raisins. Roll the mixture into balls and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 for 15 minutes or until the tops turn brown.
