Here’s Why You Shouldn't Feel Guilty About Your Method of Childcare

It’s a battle that every parent goes through and it can be mentally draining. I know because I went through it myself when I had to decide what to do with my sons Parker and Grant when I went back to work.

It’s the decision as to whether to stay home and care for your child or go back to work and put your kid in daycare.

According to a new study, children are affected differently based on the type of childcare provided but neither is detrimental to a child’s development. The research found that infants who are cared for in their early years by a parent or other relative are faster and more effective at developing speech than those who are put in childcare but those in facilities develop better hand-eye coordination and better motor skills than those cared for at home.

The study makes a good argument that no one type of childcare is better than the other and rather a mixture of both is ideal for a growing child.
