List it and Lose it

I'm the first to admit, I often go grocery shopping while hungry and that's not a good combination.

It turns out, sticking to your shopping list can help you lose weight and keep it off.

An Australian study found that people who received diet counseling and shopped with a list lost eight more pounds than those who only got the advice. One year later, those list-makers kept off an average of seven pounds more than those who shopped without one.
