Mammogram Memorandum

My mom is a breast cancer survivor now for the last nearly 30 years. I’ve been getting mammograms since I was 35 since my Mom had breast cancer and I think it’s an important thing to do for ourselves as women. In fact, I schedule mine every October without fail.

Despite recent studies that have found that more than half of women who get a mammogram each year will have at least one false alarm over a 10-year timespan, I still think it’s worth getting one.
