LIMESTONE COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - A dash-cam photo that shows a young boy hugging a Limestone County deputy who responded to a 911 call has gone viral on social media.

Deputy Jeremy Coslin responded to a report of a 911 hang-up at around 11:30 a.m. Monday at a home in Coolidge

When he arrived, he found two boys who said they placed the call because they thought someone was following them.

Coslin searched the area, determined that no one was following the pair, and then asked the boys if they were OK.

One of the boys surprised him by reaching up and hugging him in a moment recorded by the dash-cam in Coslin’s patrol unit.

Coslin didn’t want to comment on the incident, but sheriff’s officials said it was encouraging to see that kind of faith and caring between residents and law enforcement officers.
