Slow Cooker Chicken and Peppers


4 to 6 (one for everyone at the table) 6-ounce chicken breast halves, skin removed

2 teaspoons basil

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup diced yellow bell pepper

1 cup diced red bell pepper

1 can (15.5 ounces)white beans (rinsed and drained)

1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes ( with Italian mix)


Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle the spices on top, add the bell peppers, tomato, and beans. Put lid on and set to low for 8 hours.
