Amber Kennoy

Amber jumped into the media world after graduating from Eastern Kentucky University.

Amber is a Sum cum Laude graduate with a Bachelors in Communications from Eastern Kentucky University, where she attended on a full-tuition scholarship. She graduated and immediately jumped into the media world starting at Insight Media in marketing and on-air hosting duties with Shopping the Bluegrass.

A couple of years later, she broadened her on-air duties at the local FOX affiliate and began hosting a building and home improvement show called “Beyond the Blueprints” while also maintaining a full-time marketing consultant role at the station. She even hosted local M.D.-TV and Better Living segments for the station with special programming. In 2011, she moved to the local CBS and CW affiliate, WKYT-TV where she is still currently employed as a full-time Sr. Multi-Media Marketing Consultant and On-Air Host. She is creator and host of Bluegrass Home & Garden TV and the stations local MOMSEVERYDAY host.

Community involvement is extremely important to Amber and she has been actively involved with groups such as the Lexington Ballet Company, Building Industry Association Cares (BIA Cares), EKU Department of Communications Advisory Board, EKU Kappa Delta Sorority Advisory Council, and is an active member of Nicholasville Baptist Church where she helps lead worship. She also is a small business owner since 2010. Kennoy Kreations is a embroidery, monogramming, and applique speciality shop. In early 2018, she brought her sister-in-law into the business and has now expanded to women’s and children’s ready to wear apparel, gifts, and accessories. Now this family business is known as Kennoy Kreations featuring the Keene Boutique to highlight the families rich history in the area known as Keene, KY. Most importantly, she is the mother to two precious little boys. Thomas William who is 6 years old and in the first grade and Roman Alexander who is two and in preschool. Her husband and kids reside on the family farm in rural central Kentucky.
