Homemade Flubber

All kids love slime, silly putty and messy goo. A few minutes of your time and your little ones can have fun playing with this homemade flubber recipe.

Supplies Needed:
1 C glue
3/4 C warm water
food coloring

Second Bowl:
1/2 C warm water
2 T Borax

Mix the first 3 ingredients in a bowl: the glue, 3/4 C warm water and a few drops of food coloring.

In a second bowl dissolve the borax into 1/2 C warm water.

Now add the glue mixture to the borax mixture. They will combine very quickly.

I used my hands to get the flubber really mixed together. Sorry kids, Mom is not finished playing, I mean mixing yet!!

The twins had so much fun with this homemade flubber. The flubber is firm and can break into pieces but soft and molds back together. It can also be runny, which was my sons favorite way to play.

Whenever we make dough or slime I keep it in glass containers with a lid when we are finished playing.
