Julia Maloney Is The New MomsEveryday Host!
Julia Maloney is a native of Parkersburg, she graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1984 and graduated from West Virginia University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Finance.
She began her professional career at WTAP-TV in 1989 and took a brief hiatus to work for the advertising agency, Fahlgren, on their McDonald’s account. She worked as an account manager at Fahlgren for two years returning to WTAP-TV. Since returning to WTAP-TV, she has served as the Local and General Sales Manager from 1996-1999 stepping back into a Senior Account Executive position in 2000 so she could spend more time with her family.
Julia is married to her high school sweetheart Don Maloney and together they have two children. Matthew who is a junior at West Virginia University majoring in Mechanical Engineering and their daughter Lauren who is a sophomore majoring in Nursing.
Julia is currently a member of the Parkersburg Rotary Club, President of the B.A.C.F., she serves as the Evangelism chair at her church Trinity United Methodist. She has served on past boards of the Wood County Society serving Disabled Children and Adults as well as serving as a board member of the Parkersburg Rotary Club.
For her hobbies; she loves to exercise and she has taught aerobics at the Y.M.C.A., she loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
